The Rotary Club of White Rock Rotary has joined forces with the White Rock Elks Club to relaunch its successful Feed My City Program. Meals are provided by South Surrey’s Red Rose Restaurant and supplemented by fresh soups prepared by the Elks in their kitchen as well as bread donated by Cobs. Meals are distributed from the back of the Elks Club, 1469 George Street, on Wednesdays and Fridays from noon until 1:00 p.m., or whenever the food is distributed. The initiative is chaired by Anthony Manning, White Rock Rotary president-elect, and Al Burns, president, and Kelly McKay, president-elect, of White Rock Elks. The program will initially run for six months, then be reassessed based on need, funding and volunteers. Anthony Manning, President Elect.
